A Letter from the Founder
Hi, I'm Priyanka.
← a real person wrote this. slowly. The Thought Co. started as a dream three aspiring psychologists had together. Life took each of us somewhere different, and I was given the chance to carry the name forward. I still hold it as a shared thing.
It was never meant to be just a therapy practice. In my head it has always been a thought centre. A therapy space. A group of psychologists who argue with each other on purpose. Emotional wellness products that actually do something, designed by clinicians. Psychoeducation that is playful, honest, and written for the India we actually live in. And lately, research.
I'll be honest: I have never had a fixed goal for this place. What I have always had is a sense of how it should feel. Like setting your bag down after a long day. You don't have to wait until it's urgent. You don't have to arrive okay.
Who this is for
Whether you're starting therapy for the first time, lost somewhere in your 20s or 30s, holding someone else together, or just curious about how your own mind works, the door is open. That's not a tagline. It's the operating principle.
The Thought Co. is not a brand practice run by people you'll actually meet.
What we hold to
- Therapy should feel human, not clinical. The clinical rigour is in the work, not the tone.
- We're therapists first. Which means the client comes first, every time, including when it costs us.
- Ethics and continuous learning aren't values on a wall. They're the job.
- How you feel matters as much as what you think. Feeling is where thought begins.
We're not perfect. We don't try to be. But we are honest in the work, and we sit with the uncomfortable instead of talking over it.
If something we make lightens your load a little, a session, a journal page, one sentence on this site, that's the whole point.
Come back as often as you need.
