Holding Space, as the name suggests is a listening circle where each participant holds space for each other with non-judgemental listening, honest sharing and empathy.
What started out as space to express our thoughts, feel heard and find a sense of community in the pandemic highlighted a basic human need of real connectivity albeit in a digital world. In a highly digitalised world, we use technology to create safe spaces, foster a sense of understanding and community in our listening circles.
In each Holding Space a trained psychologist participates in the circle to ensure the sanctity and safety of the space is maintained. We meet regularly, with different themes, that are chosen based on themes we notice in therapy, societal and political changes.
