The Adulting Journal is a psychologist-designed self-reflection tool for navigating the complex world of responsibility, relationships, and self-doubt. It helps you pause, process, and find steadiness in the middle of change. The truth about growing up

No one really teaches you how to handle the emotional part of adulthood — the quiet fear of not being enough, the exhaustion of keeping up, the loneliness that seeps in between work emails and weekend plans. This journal was made to hold that part of your story. It won’t fix the chaos, but it will help you make sense of it — one page at a time. Some days you’ll write with clarity. Other days, just showing up will be the win. Both count.Because real growth isn’t linear — it’s lived, felt, and often scribbled in ink.

You’re not behind. You’re just becoming.
1What's inside
120-page guided journal with CBT-inspired prompts Sections on self-awareness, values, boundaries, and resilience Emotional regulation worksheets and reflection trackers Research-backed exercises to reduce overthinking Handy pocket size (A5)
2How to use
Start or end your day with a single prompt. Write freely — no filters, no pressure to sound wise. You can also pair it with therapy sessions to deepen your self-reflection or use it as a Sunday reset ritual. Most users find it helpful to revisit past entries to notice patterns and growth over time. Keep it by your bedside or carry it to a café — wherever you find stillness. Your only task is to show up with honesty. The journal does the rest.
3Why it works
The Adulting Journal is built on the principles of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based emotional regulation and real life experiences. Each prompt helps you slow down your racing thoughts, identify your patterns, and gently challenge the beliefs that keep you stuck. Through reflection, you learn to recognise your emotional triggers, clarify your values, and build healthier coping mechanisms. It’s a space to explore what it means to grow — not perfectly, but consciously. Used consistently, it strengthens your ability to process emotions, set boundaries, and find compassion for yourself even in the middle of uncertainty. Because being an adult doesn’t mean having it together — it means learning how to show up for yourself anyway.

Behind the design

Why we build tools for feelings (not just vibes).

The Adulting Journal was our second-ever journal — born from long conversations with millennials finding their footing in a fast, uncertain world. I’ve grown alongside so many of my clients and this journal is putting all our learnings together — as a psychologist and as a co-traveller in the messy, beautiful work of becoming an adult. Every prompt comes from real stories, real struggles, and the quiet triumphs of showing up again. This isn’t a guidebook to perfection — it’s an invitation to begin where you are.
